I've been doing a lot of giveaways lately, so I'm creating a page to arrange my rules so I don't have to constantly say them every single time I do a giveaway, which is often.

My giveaway rules are simple.

I always use a random number generator, not Rafflecopter. I will try Rafflecopter in the hopefully near future, but for now my random number generator suits me and my winners just fine.

I always give my winners 48 hours to respond. If I do not receive a response within 48 hours, I will choose another winner who will also be given 48 hours to respond. I will choose winners every 48 hours until I receive a response.

As a policy, I never announce winners. You may, however, if you'd like, announce yourself as a winner via comments or otherwise if you so desire. All of your information will remain under a strict privacy policy, and I will never disclose your information.

I require my entrants to be at least 13 years of age. If under 18 years of age, I strongly suggest and request that you also have a parent's or guardian's permission before entering.

All giveaways are international unless declared otherwise!

All giveaways end at 11:59 P.M. PST on closing day unless mentioned otherwise.

A special note on following me via Goodreads: Unfortunately, I do not and will not accept all friend requests I receive via Goodreads. I receive many updates that I'd rather not and occasionally meet people who never write reviews and almost never talk about books on Goodreads. I like my Goodreads friends to be mature and active. If you only send me a friend request to follow me for an entry and I ignore it, your entry to any giveaway will not count. Therefore, it is much better for you to also follow my reviews. You may still send me a friend request, but if I ignore it you will still receive your entry. I am sorry for this inconvenience, but I have to draw lines somewhere. If you only follow me at first but decide later on to friend me, you may do that as well. I go through my friends requests list and only then do I check entries against my followers and friends lists. And if I do not see you there, I must discount your entry.

A special note on tweeting: Please include my name (@AnnabelleMarieV) and a link to the giveaway page. Otherwise, it will not count, unfortunately.

ALSO: Personally, I would this would be self explanatory, but apparently it isn't. When I mark an entry option as being required, that means that it is, you know, actually required. If an entry is considered to be mandatory, do not leave it blank or write "none" or something similar. I would not mark entries as being mandatory if they were not mandatory. If you leave mandatory entries undone you will not be entered in the giveaway! Yes, in the past, people have actually attempted to leave required entries blank. *facepalm*

For once and for all: If you do not follow my instructions, you will be disqualified from the giveaway you are attempting to enter. I am very sorry to sound so harsh, but I am sick and tired of people entering my giveaways and not following my directions. I'm absolutely through with it. I deserve the respect of you actually reading my rules, and if you do not read my rules, you do not deserve to be entered in a giveaway anyway. Again, I do apologize, especially to my loyal readers who do follow my rules, and I hate to sound so mean, but really, I'm done.
