Hi, everyone!

I thought every once in a while I should ask about you all. This blog is obviously very me, and I think in its rebirth I want to reflect that more. So, every once in a while I'll these posts for discussion, where I reflect on my reading, things that have been going on in my life, that kind of thing, and ask you to do the same.

For the first post, I haven't really thought about what to say, since this is a very new idea of mine. With school over, my life is relatively uneventful these days. I've definitely been reading. Currently, it's A Court of Thorns and Roses, and tis is probably blasphemy, but I can't seem to get into it. I wish that could, because everyone seems to adore it, but it's just not doing it for me, much as I like Tamlin.

That's all for today, I think. Just a short little post, to say hi.

Lovelovelove,

Postscript: This post is also a secret giveaway (meaning I won't tell you what you can win, it's a surprise!). Just comment telling me what's going on in your life with your email to enter. You can also gain a bonus +3 entries by tweeting! It's honor system in regards to telling me you tweeted, but please don't abuse it.

  1. I haven't had as much time to read these days, since I started working at Wal*Mart around a month ago. But, I have been reading some graphic novels.

  4. hum i haven't had a lot of time to read lately because my mom had a minor stoke so i had to step in for everything and thus free time disappeared. She is improving now so i'm slowly starting again but i can't read a lot in 20min ( when i'm cut)
i have discovered the others series by anne bishop ( i received book 1 for my birthday) and now i'm dying to get the next book soon but no book shopping in teh program soon so it will be later

oh yes! i did send 3 happy mail packages ( it's a program a little like the RAK if you remember) but not focused only on books so we send a little something ( or big one) to people we know or we don't just to make them happy. i had no time to craft ( evident if no time to read even less to craft) but i do plan to start as soon as i can to create new special gift for christmas

no twitter so i can't tweet but i send an email to some friends to tell them about this post^^

have a nice week and thank you!

  16. The theme for summer reading at the library where I work is SUPER HEROES! So for the passed few months I have been creating library themed superheroes and drawing them to decorate custom made bookmarks, decorations, stand ups for photo purposes, and all kinds of other stuff!

I'm super excited because this is the first year I will be doing two programs myself! One for children and one for teens!

The library is also hosting a comic-con and I'm going to be doing two panels there, face painting, and caricature drawings to name a few things! It's going to be spectacular!

  17. Life is.... INCREDIBLY busy right now. 3 jobs, a hurt hubby and 3 crazy dogs and a crazy little stray kitty that I have been working with for 2 weeks, trying to save her. So, busy. But, I am a happy girl, too! Thanks so much for the surprise giveaway! And again, glad that you are back!

  18. I've been in a reading funk for the better part of this year. I started re-reading the Covenant series by JLA and that seems to be helping a little. I'm hoping I'll be able to read summer or beach themed books the closer we get to Summer. Personal life, there are things that could be better, but I'm happy! Thanks for the giveaway, I tweeted!

  19. Since its inception, Japanese animation has tried to produce Disney level product on a tighter budget. Their dark anime style, pioneered primarily by the legendary artist and animator known as Osamu Tezuka and his team is entertaining people round the globe.

  20. I've actually heard a lot of people say they couldn't get into A court of Thorns and Roses. Too slow a pace and then the romance is a quick flip into lusty. I haven't tried to read it yet myself, but I'm interested to try it out.

I am reading The Wrath and the Dawn right now and about halfway through it. I'm also just entered in the voice pitch writing contest :) and been working on a YA space opera on Wattpad with my CP/co-author

  21. I feel sorry that you don´t like A Court of Thorns and Roses. I read a lot of positive reviews on this book, but also many not so positive. I can´t wait to read this book, because it sounds interesting to me and I really liked The Throne of glass. But nowadays, I read only "easy reads", romantic books, on which I needn´t concentrate so much because I have a hard time now in school with exams and don´t have energy on complicated books. :) I´m looking forward your new posts :)
