I adore Waiting on Wednesdays. Thank you, lovely Jill at Breaking the Spine, for being such a fabulous host. We adore you. Waiting on Wednesdays are a fun time for all us bloggers to get together and obsess over covers and such.

My Name is Rapunzel
K. C. Hilton
Release Date: 2013
My tale has been told again and again, and I’ve heard each one. Except for my hair, I barely recognize the pitiful renditions. Muddled versions, crafted to entertain laughing children…but the children wouldn’t have laughed if they’d known the real story. It wasn't their fault. They didn't know the truth. Nobody did.My name is Rapunzel and I will tell you my story. I will tell you the truth.
(This title is not yet available for preorder.)

Okay, so. That cover. I am absolutely in love with it. It's achingly gorgeous. The play of light. The patterns and designs. The hair. Everything.

I love retellings, and Rapunzel happens to be pretty much one of my favorite fairytales ever. I love the hair lady. It's always been a major fascination of mine.

And this retelling sounds like it will be particularly dark, which I love. I have to have this book. Sadly there's no definitive release date or anything for it yet, but it is happening or I will die.
