Welcome, welcome! It's the middle of the week today, and just after New Years! It's officially the first Waiting on Wednesday hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine of 2013! How thrilling is that? I for one am major excited.

Earthbound (Earthbound, #1)

Aprilynne Pike
Publisher: Razorbill
Release Date: July 30, 2013
Tavia, the "Earthbound" heroine, is the sole survivor of a plane crash that killed her parents and left her in the keeping of an aunt and uncle. She's safe, she's happy, she should be able to move on with her life. But she can't shake the feeling that something's not right—not when she keeps having visions of a beautiful, alluring stranger who wants her to leave her family and flee to Maine, and not when it starts to look like the accident that orphaned her was part of a plot to end her life. Soon, she's on the run with no one to trust...except the childhood friend she's sworn to love forever, and whose heart she'd have to break to learn the truth about who she is.

I honestly enjoyed Aprilynne's Wings series. Mostly because of Tamani, but still. I'm super excited to meet the guys in this series. I know there's going to be a love triangle, and I'm honestly really excited to choose a team!

This book just sounds so, so good. A girl with a hidden power? That sounds awesome. And I love that she's torn. I admit that this sounds suspiciously similar to the Wings series, but I have a feeling the actual book will be very different.

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

  7. TAMANI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I really enjoyed her Wings series, also. Tamani was . . . amazing ;) I'm also really excited for this book (wow, that cover O.O Beautiful!) but I feel like the blurb is a little clumsy. I'm not exactly sure what it's about exactly.

Either way I'm really excited for this one!
