It's Monday again! I'm not a huge fan of Mondays. At least, not life-wise. I actually enjoy them very much in the virtual world. This is probably one of my favorite posts to make.

Anyway, here's this week's featured book and excerpt!

Rise (Nightshade Prequel, #2)
Andrea Cremer
Release Date: January 8, 2013
Ember's mind was a blur. What she faced was worse than any nightmare that had stolen her sleep as a child. Wolves made of fire.

Anyway, the series title completely sucks, but okay, fine, whatever. I can deal. Anyway, this book I thought was much better than the first. So that was awesome.

I like this particular excerpt because it takes some action out of context and makes it all the more exciting without being spoilery. It's pretty fantastic.

Well then, you can now enter the giveaway for a preorder! All I ask is that you read my Giveaways page before entering. Pretty please? Thanks, roses!

Here is this week's !

Well, good luck, darlings! x

  1. I'm not a big reader of YA novels but this series doesn't sound bad. Thank you for the giveaway.

  2. I love Andrea Cremer and cant wait to read this!!! I loved the first one and her Nightshade trilogy is one of my favourites!

  3. Ah! the cover is one to die for and love the excerpt! Looks very fascinating.

  4. I loved Rift so I can't wait to read this!! Thanks so much for the giveaway!! :D

  5. That excerpt makes me suoer excited for Rise! So very dark and mysterious. I adored Rift and can't wait to see what happens with Ember next. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  6. I loved the excerpt—now I really want to read this book. Thanks for the giveaway! :)

  7. Well, I have to admit I haven't yet read Rift yet, BUT I do have it on my e-reader and will soon read it! And since everyone always says that they desperately need Rise after they finised Rift, I'm gonna guess that it had a cliffhanger, so I'm gonna enter this awesome giveaway and cross my fingers!

  8. It sounds amazing, but I agree I'm not the biggest fan of the cover.

  9. The excerp make me curious with this book. And i love the cover book too.
Now I really want to read this book. Thanks for sharing :)

  10. I read Nightshade but I have yet to get to the sequel, I'm a bit confused as to what exactly they are doing with the multiple prequels. Oh well, maybe it will make more sense when I read it :).

  11. Honestly, I've got some catching up to do. (I need to read Bloodrose and the prequels!) My thoughts on the excerpt? I want more! It's so vague, and while I'm a little miffed at that, I like the chaotic glimpse into the protagonist's mind.
