I mean, okay, obviously this only applies if you live in the United States.

But that's not the point.

In honor of Black Friday, one of my favorite days of the entire year, I'm going to be hosting a giveaway!

You all know how much I adore hosting giveaways.

Anyway, today's giveaway is fun and simple. No complications, hopefully.

Since this is a book blog, obviously I normally give away books. But in honor of what I affectionately call National Shopping Day, it's going to be a little different this time! At least if you live in the US.

For US entrants, you will win a copy of a book your choice from about 10 different ARCs. The selection is likely to change so I won't tell you what it is right now. However, I will tell you that they'll range from July 2012 to 2013. You will also win a $50 giftcard to a store of your choice. However, I reserve the right to refuse to buy a giftcard for a store if I wish to, and have you choose another.

For international entrants, you will win $50 of books from The Book Depository. Or, if TBD doesn't ship to you and Fishpond does, then you can win them from Fishpond. That's all thanks to the feedback I received recently! This is purely experimental for now.

There will be one winner for each. It's going to last for a week.

So just please read my Giveaways page before entering. :)

Good luck, darlings, and have a fantastic day! I know I will! x

(And I know, it's been like for-freaking-ever since a review. There's one tomorrow, I promise.)

  1. I LOVE Shopping. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely enjoyable. I refuse to go out on Black Friday though because there are way too many nutcases out and about. I'm not sure if it's really worth it to get stampeded just to say $100. Hello...medical bills. :)
LOVE YOU! Hope you had a great Turkey Day!!
    xoxo Em

  2. No, it's not my thing. I usually do window shopping when I'm with my girls. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all Americans. :)

    ReplyDelete
  3. I love shopping, but hate crowds, so although the deals tempt me, I rarely go shopping on Black Friday. That, and I'm usually too busy stuffing myself full of Thanksgiving leftovers.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I hate shopping any shopping. I cannot stand so many people around me, and the rude clerks and walking through crowded hallways where people bump against you with their trolleys ect. I really do not see what other people find enjoyable in it. If I could I would order everything online.

    ReplyDelete
  5. i like shopping even more for books or to get present for others ( but i don't like large crowd)

    ReplyDelete
  6. I love shopping, but mostly online shopping. I have not so much patience to going to shopping male and choosing items at all.

Thank you for the giveaway ^^

I agree with Wolfswan1 above "I cannot stand so many people around me, and the rude clerks and walking through crowded hallways where people bump against you with their trolleys ect. I really do not see what other people find enjoyable in it. If I could I would order everything online." [+1]

    ReplyDelete
  7. I prefer online shopping. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here I live :)

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'm from Romania and my country is celebrating Black Friday too. I love shopping and this is the best day of the year

    ReplyDelete
  9. I love shopping! Especially Sales! It doesn't matter if there is a shoe, clothes or a book sale. In Romania they only started the Black Friday thing last year, so this year is still kind of new, and only online :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. I do love to shop, but Black Friday sounds like something best to avoid.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I LOOOOOVE shopping! Of course I do, I'm a girl! :D These days though, I'm only shopping on Pinterest, and that's pretty much the same as window shopping :( Not being American, I don't do the Black Friday stuff, but I know how crazy it gets! In Australia the Boxing Day sales are cray cray. How doesn't love a good deal?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I love shopping! Mostly for shoes (it's a slight addiction). Technically in Canada there's no Black Friday but it looks like most stores are jumping on the bandwagon this year so I'm not going to complain! haha
    Thanks for the giveaway (:

    ReplyDelete
  17. Love Love Love shopping!
We do not celebrate Black Friday though. =(

    ReplyDelete

All other types of shopping I despise and even though I love my books, it's not worth it to go out on Black Friday.

  23. I'm not a huge shopper, but it's probably because I've never had a lot of money...it's no fun shopping when you can't buy much! At times when I do have more money or when I have gift cards, I love to shop. We have Black Friday here in Canada now, but I'm avoiding the stores today and shopping online instead! Thanks for another great giveaway! :-)

I've never had a bad experience and I go out there every year~ I even meet some really nice and helpful people in the crowd some years! But, never anyone mean or pushy~ I guess I just have good luck? Or maybe it's just not that bad in some cities. :) Thank you for another amazing giveaway, Annabelle! And Happy National Shopping Day ;)

I love to shop and this was my second year doing it on Black Friday. This year, though, I did not think that the deals were the best. I do like that the stores seem to be getting their organization together when it comes to shopping.
Thank you for the amazing giveaway and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love shopping but on Black Friday it is just to hectic for me to shop so I do my shopping online during Black Friday :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love shopping. Yesterday, after my grandma's Thanksgiving dinner my mom and I went to the Black Friday sales. We bought a 40 inch tv. It's been a lot of fun going to the Black Friday sales. This year was my third year going. It was actually a lot more calmer this year than the previous years I have gone.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  45. I like shopping. Who does not like to? But, of course, only if I have money. This quote sums it all: “When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes.” ― Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus

Curse living on and trying to stick a monthly budget :P !! ReplyDelete
  54. I don't like shopping, but I love getting new things so shopping is a means to an end. I prefer shopping online, and I dread the malls before Christmas!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Sometimes but I prefer online shopping -- I would never go shopping on Black Friday -- not worth it!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Of course I love to shop! It's fun! I do go shopping on Black Friday, but I go late after everyone else is done (too crowded otherwise)

    ReplyDelete
  57. I love to shop amazon but that's about it.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I do like to shop, not as much as I used too though. Black Friday depends on the year, some years we do it, some we dont.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I like shopping most of the time, it usually depends on what I'm shopping for.

I've gone out on Black Friday the past couple of years but this was the first year I was there right at 8pm, when Walmart opened. It was crazy.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  65. I hate to shop actually! I'm one of those people who only goes to the mall when I need to and only when I really need something, other than that I stay away from the mall. This years was the first time I went out for Black Friday. Most times I don't go out into that but I wanted to get the iPad so I braved the crowd. It wasn't actually that bad... Target was okay, really crowded. Best buy was actually not bad at all. It was really organized and easy to get in and out. But didn't even get home till like 3 in the morning. So I will never be doing that again!

    ReplyDelete
  66. LOVE to shop! No Black Friday though. I try to shop around the year!

I'm not in the US but when it's the Christmas sales over here it can get very, very busy and it's not very pleasant time to shop, I try to avoid it. Thanks for such an epic giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I like to shop for short periods of time. I can't do hours and hours, and not a fan of crowds, so Black Friday's not really for me. It's starting to be a thing in Canada now, so that people keep spending money here, and it was pretty busy at the mall. Still, I do like a good deal.
