Hey, all! Today I'm excited to host one of my best blogger friends, Nikki of Fiction Freak. She's having a wonderful blogoversary tour, and today is my stop. So I have a fun little post here about Nikki's experience as a blogger, mostly things she's learned and some stats. I also have the hint for her giveaway and the full blog tour schedule. So, read on!
I have learned so much from blogging you guys! For example…

THINGS I DID NOT KNOW THEN
  1. WTH ARCs were!
  2. Authors were real people, not celebrities who never talked to crazy fans.
  3. That I wasn’t the only completely mental person in the world (*cough* *cough*)
  4. That I wasn’t the only one who was in love with books, that there was a whole community with them!
  5. What’s Goodreads?
  6. What’s a BLOG.
  7. …What’s a meme.
  8. Where do I find good books (*cough* Blogs if you didn’t know)
  9. What a GOOD BOOK was.
  10. Twitter is BO-RING
THINGS I KNOW NOW
  1. How did I read this early? MAGIC guys, MAGIC. Magic is also spelled as Advanced Reader’s Copy. Believe it.
  2. Authors actually take the time to reply to our tweets and appreciate reviews and every fan email.
  3. That there is…are…a lot of people who are crazy. Like me.
  4. REALLY. THERE ARE OVER A THOUSAND BOOK LOVERS ON THE INTERNET? WAIT, MORE?
  5. That Goodreads is a uber useful, uber fantastic site, even with its glitches.
  6. Oh hey…A blog…
  7. Still don’t know WHY they’re called that, but at least I know WHAT it is, right?
  8. Answer above. ;D
  9. I can’t believe I thought THAT was a good book! Bad worldbuilding, slow action, and horrible characters? Who was I?
  10. Twitter is the best thing ever and it is addicting and all of you should make an account. Now.
And then, here are my stats. I can’t believe it!

  1. Love this :) I used to think Authors were some crazy celebrities who never replied to fans. I know know that they are actually really lovely people who take the time and effort to reply to us and to thank us for being such good fans. Its great :)

  3. Great post! I could not figure out what a meme or arc was for the first few months of blogging, wither. Also, I still get a little amazed around my favorite authors ;)

I love hearing from my readers! All comments are greatly appreciated :) If you're a fellow book blogger, include a link so I can come and visit you! I adore you all so much! <3

Also, anonymous comments have now been disabled since I have been receiving upwards of fifty spam comments a day and I'm just done. If you're an actual human being and not a spambot who happens to comment anonymously I'm really sorry.
